Hi all,

I'm really pleased to be able to announce updates to DataTables and all of its extensions today. The download builder is up-to-date with the latest changes so you can get up and running with them immediately.

I'll be posting in more detail on the blog in the coming days, but the summary highlights of these releases are:

  • DataTables 1.10.10:
    • Bug fixes, including better column width handling
    • No longer registers itself as a named AMD module
  • Editor 1.5.2
    • New datetime field type that includes a calendar picker built into Editor
    • Automatic and built in XSS prevention
  • Responsive 2:
    • Support for column visibility
    • Modal display option
  • All extensions:
    • Now available on NPM and bower (this will be the topic of a blog post tomorrow)

and much more! These updates are recommended for everyone using DataTables.

If you run into any issues or have any questions about the new releases, post open a new discussion thread with your question so we can track each individually.

Thanks to all for your support and encouragement,
Allan

Never better this plugin for HTML tables. Marveled at the flexibility to use it together with the extensive documentation. We would angularjs integration :/

    Best regards.

Angular integration is not currently on my own roadmap - but there is this integration by Louis LIN which you might find useful.

Its not something I directly support, nor have tried myself, but yes, it should be possible. See the link above for example.
