How do I change the side the dropdown table tools is fixed?

Hello

I have 3 buttons, one which performs a custom event, the second is an export button and the third is a Clovis button. They're currently on the top right of the table. I want the drop down to be fixed on the bottom right of the button and expand to the left, currently the drop downs are going to the right hand side of the grouping and not their individual button. This is being calculated by something but I'm not sure what exactly, I assume datatables but there may be an external factor. I can't provide a link or source code, I do however have screenshots. Sorry I can't provide more.
