Can I search through a date range?

I want to be able to search though a date range. If I enter 01/21/2009 - 02/23/2009, it would return all the rows in this date range. I know I can use fnfilter and regex. I'm new to jquery and I just want to know if this possible.

Looks like this is a duplicate question to http://datatables.net/forums/comments.php?DiscussionID=313 . I suggest we keep the discussion for this in the other thread (since I've answered there that it is possible and how) unless I am missing something.
