Hit server by clicking on page number

Hi

I am new to the DataTables tool. I want to add a datatable on my page where from service I get only 100 records at a time. So by default if I display only 50 records per page I get only 2 pagenumber 1 and 2, clicking on the 2 page number should call a function and hit the service to get other 100 records and add the data to my datatable.
Is this feasible using datatable? If yes how can I proceed further. Thanking in Advance.

PS: I tried searching in the discussion forms but did not find any solution.
