Buttons won't display

I put together a very simple page using the examples provided by Allen and I can't get buttons to display although no errors are showing on the page or in the console.

You haven't included the export button definitions file - therefore there are no buttons to show. Might be easiest to use the DataTables downloader to make sure the files you want are present.
