Adding buttons to the toolbar

Hi guys,

I was wondering if it was possible to add a button at the top right corner of the toolbar instead of the Search functionality.

i found the below link:

What i didnt like with this link is that the css is lost and the Show Entries functionality is lost. For my purpose, i still want the Show Entries functionality to still work and i also want the CSS to still be applied to the toolbar.

Is there a way how this can be done please?
