I have a column that displays a large number correctly as text. However, when I use the copy or excel button they get turned into numbers in scientific notation format.
Okay thanks for the confirmation. That is something that will hopefully be resolved in a future version of Buttons where I'll be improving the XLSX output. That it likely some months off due to other planned work though I'm afraid.

If you look in the raw text (i.e. paste into a text editor) is it in scientific notation? Can you link to a page showing the issue please.

If I got to a text editor it is just fine. Excel is the one turning it to scientific notation:
