Datatables Buttons plugin issue

I am having trouble exporting my table to either pdf or excel.
The copy and print buttons are working fine.
Sometimes when I click the excel and pdf buttons first, it will work fine. if I click the print or copy button first, the excel and pdf won't work.
What am I missing here?
