sort grouping by row count

Several discussions asked this question but were closed and never answered.

Need answer for version 1.10 +

Is there a way to sort grouped rows by the number of rows found in each group? I.e. putting the largest groups on top:

Group 1 (10 rows)
Group 2 (8 rows)
Group 3 (4 rows)
Group 4 (2 rows)
