two checkbox selection for datables

I am trying to implement two checkbox selections that is similar to https://datatables.net/extensions/select/examples/initialisation/checkbox.html. This example show a single checkbox selection and would like to have the same checkboxes for the user so that he can choose only two options. any sample code that can point to implementation? thanks in advance.
