What is right? $.fn.dataTable or $.fn.DataTable

In Version 1.10 , I use :DataTable but I can see also this: $.fn.dataTable.pipeline

Either. They are different objects (because of how the API works), but the plug-ins should attach themselves to both.

$.fn.dataTable is probably safest as not all plug-ins do (they should).
