Add an empty thead column

Hi, I'm trying to create a table with 2 main td (40% width each) and 4 smaller td (5% width each).

It works pretty good but the thead show only the first two td titles.

The smaller td looks like this:

{ data: null, sDefaultContent: '<a data-id=""><i class="material-icons">delete</i></a>', width: '4%', title:"Contatto"}

It doesn't shows nothing as you can see here: http://imgur.com/a/Dko4Q

What can I do to add an empty thead TD with a width of 20%? Or at least making the smaller one's titles working.
