Respond when column for sort is clicked

Hello,

how I can check if a column was clicked for sorting?

I ask, because I use fnRowCallback and if user click to sort a column, every time this function is called.

I need to hook if user click column to sort and in this moment I want set a value to certain variable to use this variable in other function.

Do you have some ideas? How I can do that...
