last column always hides

Why does the last column always get the value style='display:none'?
This makes the last column always dissapear, even if there is plenty of room for it..

For example: if you only have four columns and plenty of space, the first three then become extremely wide (even with only values like 1, 2 and 3 in it) and the lastcolumn is always hidden.

Please solve/explain this.

I still need an answer for this problem.

It's not an template issue, since datatables own tables also show this behaviour.

Can anybody address this problem?
