Is it possible to disable client-side sorting when server-side mode is enabled?

Is it possible to disable client-side sorting when server-side mode is enabled?
Additionally with that I also need that the sorting icons were displayed and user was able to click on them and the table sent correct sorting order to server.
In other words I need only that the table was not sorting data in client-side but just keep row ordering as received from server.
