Good day Sir/Maam, i just noticed that https://datatables.net/extensions/buttons/examples/html5/pdfOpen.html is working on firefox but not on chrome and microsoft edge, is there some tweaks you can advice to me?

Any reply would be gladly appreciated.

How odd. It used to work! Thanks for letting me know about that. I'll look into it and post back once I've had a chance to do so.

I have found the culprit, after searching some forums i have read that many users are experiencing this too because of an adblocker, i disabled mine and it works.

My thought is, this pdf pop-up shouldn't be treated as ad.

Now the only thing bugging me, is there a way i can let the pdf open in new window without disabling the adblocker?

That's the UTF8 information that needs to be embedded into the PDF to make it work - those characters shouldn't cause any issues.

    because of an adblocker

Ah! Which blocker are you using? I've got uBlock Origin installed and was seeing the same thing.

I suspect this might be a question we have to pose to the adblocker community.
