DataTable Column Rearrange Choking IE

Hi All,
I have a datatable that loads around 1K data. I have made some customization on the datatable for my application needs.The issue is that when I rearrange the column and resize it , the IE stops responding . I saw a plugin from Allan and tried integrating it in my code. Problem here is that my Datatable is version 10 and Allan's version is a lesser one. Can anybody give any suggestion on how to make the reorder faster ? I tried deferRender and that made the process a bit faster , but still IE hangs.
