Redraw pagination buttons for different screen sizes

Hi Allan and community

Is there a way to make the pagination buttons stay on one line and only show the buttons "first", "previous", "next", "last" and of course the numbers in between.

As for the numbers I only want to show the once that can fit inline.

Hope my question is understandable. For clarification purposes, I have attached a photo of the problem I'm having.
