Is a Fixed TableTools possible just like FixedHeader?

First off, I've used dataTables in a few applications now, love it!

I am using datatables with jquery ui.selectable and themeroller and it works great. I am going to use TableTools with some custom buttons to act on the selections made in the table. I thought it would be nice if the TableTools buttons could have a fixed position just like FixedHeader and follow the user as he scrolls through a long list of items.

Is it possible to configure this with the current plugins? Or would this require some more work?

Dredging up an old post, I know, but I would like to accomplish this as well... Any answers?
