Excel button missing

I've been experimenting with DataTables buttons for export, and I've found an odd behavior: the excel button is missing in many cases. Repros under both Chrome and Safari

I've attached a minimal example and a screen shots of what I see.

Environment:

Mac OS Sierra, Version 10.12.6

Chrome: Version 60.0.3112.113 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Safari: Version 10.1.2 (12603.3.8)

Two things happening here:

1. Although you load the Flash buttons, Chrome and Safari are blocking Flash by default now. So the Flash button won't show.
2. JSZip is required for the HTML5 Excel button to be able to operate. Since the page isn't loading JSZip, there is no HTML5 Excel export button shown either.
