Field information in Format.php

Hi
is there a way to determine which Field is currently being formatted in "Format.php"?
Or in other words: does the setFormatter Method pass on information about the currently formatted field?

Interesting question - no I'm afraid there isn't an option for that at the moment, but I can see how it would be useful to use the same formatting function for multiple fields.

At the moment you'd need to use a closure function that would add that information explicitly.
