DataTables Column Search in footer

Hi there,
I'm looking for a solution to add a per column search feature to a table that is generated from an object/json.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a solution for this. All the examples available are either for a static html table with a custom footer where the footer is present and accessible via. the api. Unfortunately, this isn't the case with an object as the data source.

Down the line, it is important that it works with column visibility.

Any help would be much appreciated
