Combine Fixed Footer plus extendable row content

Hey folks,

My intention is to combine the fixed footer plugin with an extendable row content.
Let me explain it in detail:

I have a SSP DataTable with some data in it - by initialization the position of the fixed footer will be defined.
Works like a charm so far , but my rows are able to load some data by clicking on a button.
This data will be displayed in another row , which is appended directly below the row clicked.
For sure my Tables height has changed now , so the fixed footer disappears earlier than the table ends.

Have you guys any ideas how to adjust the height of the fixed footer to the new height of the Table ?
