Disable search on one column but only from the global search box

Hi, I have a table with global search and column filters. Some of the column filters are text boxes and some are select boxes. I would need to prevent global search of searching in one specific column, but I would like to keep the select box filter (which is in the header of that column) working as it does per design. Is that possible?
