I am trying to make just Excel-Export available via the buttons-plugin with the option "buttons":"excel" - but when I load the page, I get the error shown in the title. What am I doing wrong?

buttons can't be just a string:

"buttons": "excel",

Try:

        "buttons": ["excel"],
