How can I make hidden child row from dataTables play nice with responsively hidden child columns?

I have the dataTables already doing its thing to show and hide child rows.
But for the life of me I cannot get the responsive child columns to show up INSIDE the same child row created for data-tables child row.

Does anyone have any pointers?

Have you looked at the example section, since some, like this one, may give clues.

If you've tried that already, it would be worth creating a live example of your code as it would help us to understand the problem.
