Best way to prevent overlapping elements?

During testing we found that the search and number of entries elements can overlap. What is the best way to prevent this?

Ideally I would like for the search to try and remain centered on the page and stops moving when it encounters the right entry pull down label.

Hi pmenefee,

Have you modified the CSS, as I can't reproduce that when resizing the page. If possible, could you provide a live example that demonstrates the problem.
