inline edit on touch device

Hi there,
We're testing out DataTables and having an issue with touchscreens when testing on an ipad/ipad pro. When we try to tap a cell to edit inline, the cell does not change to an editable field.

This isnt a problem on a computer through. Is there a known workaround or fix for this?
