Cell selection equal to excel

As a large listing of information, the customer asked if an option could be developed where he would press the "Ctrl" for example, click and drag over the rows of the table and go selected as he drags, like a spreadsheet excel.
Does Datatable have this function? It's possible?
I believe that this possibility does not exist in any function, but it does not cost to ask since I did not find in the internet. Thanks.

The closest that DataTables has to that is the AutoFill extension, please look at the examples here.
