I need to create a table from a cvs/xls file and render it using DataTables in Drupal 7. Do I have to import the data into the Drupal database in order to render it or is there a way to point DataTables directly to the cvs/xls file?

Hi @nnason ,

DataTables can't create a table directly from the a CSV or XLS file, you'll need to parse it first and create the HTML elements - it would be worth Googling on ways to do that, I don't know anything about Dupra I'm afraid so no idea whether that can render it.
