Customize Excel: output excel workbook with multiple sheets

I am able to do so correctly output an excel document using excelHtml5 and extending it with exportOptions/customize to display what I need. However, I am unable to find a solution to add a second sheet and add/customize data.

Is there a solution?

this is not exactly the most user friendly explanation but frustrating to hear that data tables does not support this out of the box. Since this thread is from early 2017, I ask this question to see if there has been any more updates since.
