Regarding the print button not working on IE11 and Microsoft Edge

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help solve this problem at this post https://datatables.net/forums/discussion/48686/cant-print-on-internet-explorer-11-after-customizing-the-print .

I am also looking for a solution to fix this issue regarding the print button does not function properly after few customizations before printing like the above post as well.

Hopefully this problem can be solved soon.

Hi @mzhilmi ,

There was a bug in the Buttons extension which has been fixed but not yet released. See this thread here on how to get the nightly releases.

I've replaced the datatable .js files with the nightly build, but it still doesn't work.

On Chrome, when clicking the "Print" button provided by the datatable, it works fine. However, in IE and Microsoft Edge, it shows this error.

This error only appears in IE and Microsoft Edge but not other browsers.

Hopefully this error can help with the nightly build. Ty

Does it happen for you on this page? That one appears to work okay for me in both IE11 and Edge.

If it does work for you, please link to a page showing the issue.
