Problem with footer

I have a table to which I add the footer via the js append function. Datatable draws me two lines instead of one. But when you filter the table or change the number of lines, the second row of the footer disappears.

I think we'd need to see this one. We're happy to take a look, but it would help, as per the forum rules, if you could link to a running test case showing the issue so we can offer some help.
