export with expand/collapse all child rows

I am trying to create a table with expand/collapse child rows as in the example on this page: [https://datatables.net/examples/api/row_details.html]
and i use export to Excel button ,when i click on it the excel sheet that generated doesn't include the child row data

As you say, it doesn't happen by default, it's not currently supported. But this thread here gives some steps on what to do,
