How to keep formatting right while exporting to excel

Hi,

I'm currently working on export to excel features and I'm having some formatting problems.

Numeric fields gets messed up showing the numbers as "1.65461E+11". This issue can be resolved if i import the .csv file in excel and provide formatting parameters while importing the data in excel but leaving this job for the clients can make the things worst.

Is there any way I can sort this out using tableTools built-in functionality?

I too am interested in getting rid of the exponential formats that come through in the XLS conversion. Any suggestions? (Before you tell me: Do a "search", I still am. This is the first match I've found so far, so if I find something else, sorry)

I was having the same issue, i just gave space before printing the value in table data and tired exporting. it was working fine.
