I am using flask and bootstrap and the data tables functionality is not working at all. I click the sorting arrow and nothing happens.

The first thing to do what Datatables functionality is not working is to check the browser's console for Javascript errors.
Its hard to say what the problem might be without see it. If this doesn't help then please post a link to your page or a test case replicating the issue.
