Basic Usage Error (Newbie)

Hello

This is my first time so I apologise if I am doing something stupid…

I am trying to use DataTables from within the xenforo forum software…please see attached..php file.

I am calling the attached php file off a menu item on the “Members” menu within the forum.

I have done this already and it works fine if it is simply HTML. The attached HTML code works and produces a list of members on screen….

But I don’t understand how this HTML table gets handled by the datatables() function…

Please advise…

DataTables is Javascript - so you need to put it in script tags!
