Sorting with string length and content

The data is list of string ['224','2224','2241','224P'] When sorted ascending the table shows
2224, 224, 2241, 224P where i am looking for 224, 2224, 2241, 224P . Any idea on how to add string length also in consideration for sorting?

Maybe the natural sorting plugin will do what you want.

Just implemented and deployed a minified js script locally and it works like a charm. Thanks a lot again.
