manage columns (which will be visible and which will go to the + )

Hello there,
So i have a table which has 5 columns and i want to set 3 columns to be on + sign.
I found the auto hide system but i want to control which column will be there.

for example there is this https://datatables.net/extensions/responsive/examples/display-control/auto.html

which is ok but the columns which are in the + are auto by the width. I want those columns to be manually there and to have like 3 main columns and the rest in the + .
And the ideally will be if we have like 10 columns which 5 will be visible and 5 on + if the width is to small the 5 which are visible will be reduce automatic according to width and be pushed to +.

Any ideas ???
