Froala WYSIWYG Editor

Froala WYSIWYG Editor

tscullytscully Posts: 6Questions: 3Answers: 0

Hi!

My organization uses the Froala WYSIWYG editor, and I noticed that it doesn't yet have a plugin created for it. I'm going to attempt to create one for our use (following the manual), but I wanted to request that support for it be added to the official field plugin repository.

As always, thanks for your work on DataTables!

-Tim.

    Hi Tim,

I hadn't heard of Froala before - it looks very good!

Let me know how you get on with the plug-in, and once you have something I'll add it to the list. WYSIWYG editors can have some real quirks about being added and removed from the document, so you might find looking at how I've implemented the other WYSIWYG plug-ins we have useful. Shout if you get stuck!

I would be interested in this as well. One thing I like is that it doesn't (with the mode I use) use iframes. That makes it easier for me to use also with SignalR.

We have a plug-in for Quill which works without an iframe as well.

Thanks for the vote for a Froala plug-in though!
