Description of problem:
Hi,
I am upgrading from TableTools to Buttons extension. I have noticed that when trying to use Buttons - copyHtml5 option or csvHtml5 for a table with large data (around 100000) it is extremely slow compared to TableTools. It takes around 18 sec to display the message copied to clipboard and around 15 sec for the csv to download using Buttons extension. Also the entire page becomes unresponsive during that time.
Is there anything that I can do to make it load faster and make the page responsive during that time?

No, I'm afraid not. With that many records in the client, you would see issues with the performance as you described. In the new year we'll be working on a new extension that will assist with that, but unfortunately I don't believe there's any workaround in the meantime,
