count the result row number

I created this datatable:
live.datatables.net/xowuremo/1/edit

I would like to add in the $tst span the total number of rows displayed.
I found a way to display the sum of the item values but what i need is the sum of rows... on of its row values...

any help?

I'm not clear what you are asking for. The FooterCallback example shows how to sum a column. You can use the selector-modifier of {search:'applied'}, like your posted example, to sum the values in the column. You can repeat the code for multiple columns.
