columnvis button redraw on close

For large datasets, enabling/disabling columns via column vis buttons can be quite slow understandably. I would like to know if there is a way to disable table redraw until the button collection has been closed after toggling multiple columns instead of each time an individual column has been toggled via the collection?

I'm afraid there is no option for that at this time. A click on the button immediately triggers the column()visible() method. It is a nice idea though - the collection can certainly be kept open (using the autoClose option) but the columns would still be immediately toggled.

It would be something that is possible with a custom button, but not built in I'm afraid. Nice idea for future though!
