select extension and i18n. Hide "rows, columns and cells selected" when nothing is selected?

Hello,

I use datatables with translation and the select extension. I have a question about this.

Without localisation, "x rows selected" is only displayed when rows are selected.
With localisation, "x row selected x columns selected x cells selected" is always displayed, regardless of whether a row is selected or not.

I find the first behaviour optimal, how can I adopt this for internationalisation?

I'd say the translation is a little wrong there - it should really try to follow the behaviour of the original, and the 0 options are missing there.
