tagify in data table editor

I use the tagifi library to add tags to the table, everything works as expected, but how can I make a custom field so that I can edit them in the data table editor?

Does tagify offer something which can be used as a regular form input? It isn't immediately clear to me from their web-site, and it isn't something I've come across before, so it might very well do so, but I'm not certain.

If it does, then you can create a field type plug-in for Editor to allow it to be used inside an Editor form.
