datatable does not preserve line breaks when exporting pdf or excel

The problem I have is that when exporting to PDF or Excel the line break is not reflected and I don't know how to make it reflect in the exported files

This example from this thread may help. It's slightly different, spaces are being converted to newlines. If that doesn't help, please can you update my example, or link to your page, so that we can see the problem.
