I am using the key and state option ("createState" and "savedStates") but it is giving me these errors in the console. When I remove the key option they disappear. The problem I see is that it does not load the search option, and that it also creates a conflict with state, sometimes it loads it correctly and other times it does not.

Can you give me a link to a test case showing the issue please? I've just quickly tried this: https://live.datatables.net/kuqomara/1/edit and it appears okay. Interestingly the state doesn't include the key focus, which I thought it would, so I'll need to look at that, but there is no error.
