Yep, that's a fair point, I'm seeing it here too.
I've raised it internally (DD-2924 for my reference) and we'll report back here when there's an update.

Yup, good point! I've committed a fix which will be in DataTables 2.0.2. I just released 2.0.1 yesterday, so it might be a week or two before 2.0.2 lands.
