Change the background color of specific columns in the table for which dataTable filters applied

How can I change the background color of those columns in the table for which data table filters are applied in the search?
Any help?
I am using the wpDataTable plugin. Do you have any tweaks, ideas, or suggestions?

wpDataTable is not supplied by Datatables. It may use Datatables, I'm not sure, but this forum is not the best place to get support for wpDataTable. We can answer specific Datatables questions but don't have the background for answering wpDataTable questions. Possibly Stack Overflow is a good place to ask about wpDataTable.
