Need to install software for new user but old user still shows up

I am the software admin for Texas Education Agency and we currently have 10 seats with Datatables. According to our records the seats were purchased in 2018. Our IT team tried to install the software for a new user John Lozano this week. Seems the only available software is the version that the last user had (John Lednicky-jledicky) this person is no longer with the company. The name may be spelled (jlednick)
Are you able to remove the old user so that the new user (john Lozano) can have the software installed with the current version?
Our coverage term is 5/25/23-5/24/28.
Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.
